Recommend? Thin Light Locking with Pocket Clip

+1 to the Kershaw Chill recommendations. Great little knife. Thin, light and inexpensive. Bonus points: flips a million times better than a Skyline.

I had a friend ask for a recommendation and I was stumped.

He wants a good quality, very thin, very light, pocket clipped small knife.

Something nice, but not very expensive, but not super cheap either.

He saw my Alox Cadet and liked the size but wanted a clip and lock.

My first thought was a Spyderco Dragonfly. Anything I'm missing?

Not clipped though...a file? Does a swage count?

Some I rarely see mentioned are the Enzo Birk and Pk70. Also the A.G. Russell Spire and Titanium Button Lock and Gentleman's Framelock might be worth considering. I would suggest the Kershaw Skyline and Chill. The Benchmade Lum designs might be worth looking at too.

Although perhaps not what the OP requested, the Spyderco Cricket and Equilibrium are quite nice looking and about as lightweight and slim as they come.

I heartily agree with the Kershaw Skyline and Chill, though all of my Skylines (10+) flip way better than my one Chill (most likely a fluke).

Kershaw Chive, if the Leek is too long.

Ka-Bar Dozier Mini-lockbacks are great, as well, and right at a $20 bill, with several color options.

Not the minigrip the other one with m390 and ffg I think its the cutlery shop exclusive ritter.m390 ffg should slice and cut like a dream pluss you can pimp it with loads of custome scales.dfly also goodwith the nijishian fiber for a gents knife.
