Recommendation: EDC Flashlight

Depends on the style you want penlight, tactical, single or double cell. I'm not too big on the tactical thing practical and handy is more my speed. I have a Preon 2 S2 coming my way 43 shipped can not wait for that little box.

I've been carrying a Fenix PD30 since July. Great light. I've only replaced the batteries once since purchasing it. I'm considering the LD10 for battery consistency among numerous devices.

I've been carry a SureFire Backup for a few years now. Fits nicely and comfortably in my front pocket of my jeans or my front pocket of my security uniform. Lots of light from this little torch.

I like the 4Sevens Preon2 for a penlight (2xAAA). The 4Sevens Quark Mini AA2 is about the same length as the Preon2 and is only a couple tenths of an inch larger in diameter. You should be able to find reviews on both on youtube. I prefer the reviews from goinggear.com, but there are several others out there.

I love my Elzetta, single mode, crenelated bezel, clicky tailcap and Malkoff M60 Warm Flood.

(not my pic)

Over the past year I have carried the Streamlight Microstream,
Stylus Pro, and the PT 2L. The only one that I have had a
problem with is the Stylus pro which has a temperamental
switch. Other than that they are great edc lights. Cheap,
durable, and easy on batteries. I think my next light will be
a Fenix PD 31. Try something a little different.

Surefire E2D is what I would recommend. Small and thin, but large and comfortable enough to use as something other than a flashlight. Bright enough, but not too bright.
