Does anyone have a siggestion for a Framelock folder? NOT a flipper. Stainless Steel. In the $250-300 price range. Thanks

Or a Ti Military.
Both the Slysz and Millie are fantastic knives and seem to check your boxes.
The Millie is available in a couple of different steels also.
Benchmade has a couple also, the 761 & 765. These 2 are on bearings with excellent blade steel.
Good luck and let us know what you decide on!

So you are saying you want a Slysz Bowie? I say go for it.

That's funny, I was thinking the same thing, lol. I don't own a Slysz Bowie but I've always felt that some day I would.

You might want to check out the WE Knives 620 and I know I'd be giving the ZT0850 a hard look too...

Thanks. I should of given more details regarding what I want.

I have a ZT 0850. Great Knife!

To be more specific:
Non-flipper
Framelock
Stainless steel
Between 3.3-4 inch blade length
A drop point or clip point blade. Or a modified version of either.

Do you want the framelock to be ALL Ti in construction? There are some nice options with 50/50 G-10/Ti construction. Almost too many to list.....

Used sebenza?

$300 ought to be able to get him a "slightly" used plain Jane 21, but the OP will have to be patient. But his lower end of the budget range may get him nothing here on the Exchange other than a very, very used Sebbie, if that! If he doesn't mind a 3" blade the Slyze Bowie seems like a great option for all Ti which is a great slicer too. TBT, not too fund of that CTS-XHP as I feel that at that price point, the SB ought to come with at least a bit of a better steel.

Titanium frame lock, stainless steel blade, manual opener (thumb studs or blade hole), $250-$300 new.

ETA: Excluded some due to blade shape or length.

  • Spyderco Slysz Bowie
  • Spyderco Tighe Stick
  • Spyderco Lil LionSpy
  • WE 620
  • WE 618
  • WE 609
  • ProTech TR3

Thanks everyone! I had a Spyderco T.i. Military S30V. I sold it recently.

Ideally, I'd like something between 3.4-3.8 inch blade length. Stainless steel

Id prefer to go with a new knife not used.....for a few reasons. One being that imo used knives, like Sebenza, don't get discounted enough. Even in excellent condition, I believe a used price from a private seller should be extremely lower than new price from an authorized retailer. I know others differ. Just my opinion.

I've thought about going up to a higher price category to get something like a new Sebenza 21. However, I personally feel that for over $400, the blade steel should be a step up from S35VN. Such as M390. Again, just my opinion.

I'm considering a Benchmade 761. Any thoughts on that??
