check out Bark River, they make excellent knives and have several offerings similar to what you're looking for. The Wolf River seems closest to what you want, they run about $90-125 online.

if you're looking for a cheap fixxed blade check out the CS Canadian Belt knife or Roach Belly. the materials are only mediocre but they are tough knifes and the prices are unbeatable, about $10-12 at various online retailers.

Check out the ROSarms line-up. I've seen a few knives, like their Edelweiss, with a huge belly, and am becoming more interested in these rather unique knives. Vassilli (nozh2002) just did a sort-of review of one on the knife reviews and testing forum. :thumbup:
The RosArms Edelweiss would be a good choice in a new knife. I had forgotten about this even tho it is on my "to buy" list...lol. As krakoa said there has been some reviews done on this knife. They are reasonably priced and available from US dealers.
