Recommendation for a magnifying loupe to check edges?

Anyone give me a link to a loupe I can use to check my edges to ensure I've raised a bur?

Get a Bausch & Lomb 4X or 5X watchmaker loupe . Anything more powerful and the focal point will be too close to the edge of the knife.

This can be resolved better with bright light source or by finger tips.

I just use an interchangeable camera lens. A 28 or 50 works fine.

Good call for anyone who still owns a camera with detachable lenses in those focal lengths. In addition to being available, they are highly corrected optics, as compared to the cheapies from pharmacies and Radio Shack (altho some are surprisingly good.)
