Given a choice of Endura or Delica for EDC, I'd take the Delica. Enough blade to get most jobs done, in a light, compact package. If I was going to be doing heavy jobs on a daily basis, and had bigger pockets in my work clothes, the Endura might be better. I have fairly large, but skinny, hands, and the Delica is easy to open, close and manipulate. (The Endura is pretty ergonomic, too, but the Delica is better).
A word of warning - it would be unfair to compare a Delica to, say, a Benchmade AFCK. IMHO, a FRN Delica is as functional as an AFCK ( I have a newer D2 model). Both have strong and weak points when compared head-to-head. HOWEVER, the Delica is a ~$50 knife, while the AFCK is a ~$100 knife. If you're partial to Benchmade's construction and materials, it would be more fair to look at a higher-end, US made Spyderco that has similar features (G-10, linerlock, etc.) That said, the Delica usually gets the carry nod over my AFCK for these reasons: weight, compactness, and feel in my hands. I am losing a little bit in hard-use applications with a thinner blade (though some have argued that a thinner blade can be used harder in certain situations because it requires less force to make a cut) and somewhat weaker lock.
Good luck in your quest for the perfect Spydie!
