recommendation for single blade slipjoint

thanks everyone for the replies, I found the copperhead for about $34, so can't go wrong there... don't have any sodbusters or opinels, but I imagine I'll pick 'em both up one of these days :)

I'm looking for some recommendations on a good quality production single blade slipjoint. It's going to be a user ...

I have to ask: Why a single-blade slippie? I mean, if a slippie, then why not have the advantage of multiple blades? Or, if a single blade knife, why not the advantage of a lock and/or one-hand opening.

Not trying to be confrontational at all ...... I'm sincerely interested in your motivation. :)

I got the cocobolo scales.

I actually already have a queen gunstock with two blades... overall I like it, but I don't really like how the grip feels with one blade closed and one open, so I thought I'd try a single blade version :)

I have always been a fan of single-spring patterns - like Canoes. Queen's Canoe pattern - esp. the new/limited 1095/bone series ones and the old D2 "Winterbottom" series are my favs. They ride nice and flat in the pocket yet still have 2 stout blades.
