and I'm torn between the Tramontina 18" blade and the Marble's bolo (the orange one).

So, you like the Marbles? Have you put it to much use yet? I've been thinking of getting one, but I know that the quality of Marbles products these days can be somewhat uneven.

I've used it. The Marble's is great! If you're wanting one, now is the time to snag one up (Marble's is bankrupt now).

The Marbles machetes were made for them by Imacasa, which is Condor's parent company. So they're pretty good stuff!

I like the Ontario regular (even if they are jerks) I like my cold steel kukri machete both needed to be reprofiled ,I guess I shouldn`t say thye needed reprofiling as almost all do if they are at a certain price point.

Awwww... not another American knife company going under! Guess I need to pick up that big Marbles Trailmaker I've been wanting, too.
