They are made by Kamakura Koki Co., Ltd, a Japanese company with manufacturing in China (Malaysia and Korea too). Kamakura Koki makes binoculars badged with many company names/logos. Are you sure the Mojaves are actually made in Japan? There's a reason Leupold often makes it difficult to determine some of their products' country of origin, especially when shopping on the net. I'd rather a company just be totally open about it. The Fujinon the OP settled on and got are likely a Kamakura Koki product.Try a Leupold Mojave 10X42 before you decide. Limited lifetime warranty. It's Leupold's gold ring products that have the Full Lifetime Guarantee warranty, the best warranty in the business. It's their Gold Ring products that are designed, machined, assembled, and tested in the USA and so carry their famous Full Lifetime Guarantee. The lenses, though designed at the Leupold optics lab, are procured from non-USA vendors because Leupold states no American manufacturer can produce lenses of high enough quality. They are good quality with a lifetime warranty...., wherever they were made.
And all made overseas including PRC. Country(ies) of origin depends on model.Redfield.They're owned by Leupold.
