Hey all,
I have decided my next purchase is going to be a titanium frame lock flipper. Now I just have to decide which knife to get:rolleyes: here are the requirements
Titanium frame lock flipper
Under $400

Do both scales have to be titanium?

ill recommend kizers. You could get 3 high quality ti flippers with awesome blade material from kizer with your 400$ budget.

My two favourite knives are ZT 0560BW and ZT 0301. You couldn't go wrong with either.

Get a Reate.

You'll get all the bells and whistles for a great price. They are very refined knives for their price point.

There are a wide range of choices, from Hinderer, ZT, Reate, to Kizer. If you can specify your requirements of blade length, weight, steel preference, and intended use, that will be helpful for folks to give you more meaningful recommendations.

Without these requirements, any of the above four brands are fine choice.

I second Reate. They're just a little more refined and finished than a ZT for just about the same money. The Horizon C at $250 is better than any equal knife by ZT and the Hills at $170 stands toe to toe with the best from ZT. When you get into the >$300 Reates or Reate collaborations, they're better made than the ZT Limited Editions.

I love my ZT's and I keep on buying them, but Reate is just about the best option going for a flipper in the sub-$400 price range.

ZT 452cf, ZT 562cf, Spydie Ti Millie, Pro Tec TR-3 manual or a BM 761.
I have all of them and they are great knives!
Good luck!

Joe, the Millie isn't a flipper... Lol

Op, the ZT0562 or the 0562CF would be my recommendation also. You'll even have about half your $400 left to put towards your next knife!

What everyone else on here said.. ZT has probably the best flipping action of most knives. Over some mid-techs and customs. My two favorites are the 0452cf if you want a big knife or the 0450 if you want a smaller one. The 0450 is faster, opens like a auto. Good luck..with your budget buy both honestly.
