Hi guys, i would like to hear all your recommendations for a light folder whose blade is in a dagger spear point (just like that shape, no particular usage reasons for that shape, would love to hear some though)

Blade should be 3-3.5" (I can live with slightly longer) preferably VG-10, equivalent or better, not particular about scales, assisted opening would be good but not strictly necessary, not particualr about locks. About $60ish..

I know the first few that come to mind would be the Pardue BM530 and the Ka-Bar Dozier 4059.

Just wondering if there are any more??

Thanks..

Is not VG10 but I got an AUS8 CRKT M16-13E spear point and it's very good for the price, it's my only spear point knife but I'm thinking about getting another one soon, that blade shape is great!

It's a little smaller than what you were looking for (just over 2.5") but the Spyderco Native is a great little knife. In S30V, VG10 or AUS10.

The Native's blade actually exceeds 3"(at least mine does by about 1/16"). It has a cutting edge of about 2.5".

I've got the Native and the Al Mar does seem to be beyond my budget. Any other recommendations??

A Spyderco Wave Endura?

I agree.
The waved Endura or the waved Delica....

wow.. never seen that BM before.. looks good..

unfortunately, it also costs like 2 times my budget of $60ish...

anything nearer to that amount... $60ish??

Sorry didn't notice the budget. For what it's worth, the Waved Endura and Delica have arguably better steel than the BM 14200.

Columbia River VOODOO might be just what you're looking for ($70.00). I love mine and I've never really liked Columbia River or assisted openers. I love the stoutness it has and the handle fits me like a glove in every grip. The steel is 154cm. I removed the rubber inserts and added a bead blasted benchmade pocket clip. I've had and traded almost every production knife made (no exageration), but this on I'll be keeping.

CRKT M16-13Z, usually can be had for less than $30. I like mine that's for sure. Some people don't like CRKT but for $30 it's nice.
