Like this knife a lot, but my hand is constantly slipping on the handle. It is much smoother than Delica FRN and most other Spydercos. What can I do with very limited tools to afford a better grip/purchase on this knife?

If it's Micarta just find someone w/ a bead blasting cabinet, tape up the metal bits/remove the clip & hose it down. I did that to 2 users (Caly Jr. & a Jess Horn Micarta- yeah- I know- I ruined the resale value, etc). Turned out pretty nice. I actually blasted the whole knife (both knives) & made 'ghetto tacticals' out of them- they were scratched up pretty badly from doing some work in a stone shop so the finish was an improvement.

I believe the handle material is Zytel, just not as textured as the Delicas/Enduras.

How about sticking some of that stair-tread/skateboard tape to it? There's plenty of flat smooth surface there so it should stick well.

Great idea! Had some grip tape laying around, cut it up, presto, I"ve got a terrific SD knife that now stays in the hand. They should make that knife with inserts like Microtech, it'd be near-perfect.
