I'm about ready to buy a small forge. I only make a few knives a year, so I only need a forge big enough for one or two blades at a time. Do you have recommendations on a small forge? Thanks.
Why not make your own? How small are we talking? I made mine out of an old propane cylinder and insulated it with ceramic wool and covered in satanite/itc-100 and lined the floor with mizzou.
I made my own a couple years ago. Recently I bought an Atlas mini. Man, you will not be sorry with the Atlas Forge.
Look up some reviews on it. It heats up fast. It is put together well. It's one of the best investments i've made since I started knifemaking.
