Recommendations please: just one Case

Are you only looking to buy a knife that's new and current production? I ask because if you're willing to consider older knives I think you'd have a larger pool to pick from for your desired combination of bone covers with carbon steel blades. There are plenty of good old Cases out there with a lot of life left in them for a daily user.

Glocktenman - I do have a wharncliffe half whittler, should have stated that earlier. I'll go and edit.

Bob W - I have nothing at all against the stockman, I actually think it is the best pattern and it is my most carried edc. But I am still in the early stages of knifeknutitis and am in denial that I can limit the damage :p So I am trying to explore as many of the multitude of options as efficiently as I can. I already own a stockman, copperhead and sodbuster, all in different brands, handle materials and steels. So I'd like a Case in their cv steel and a new pattern.

Jujigatame - I don't have a problem with a used knife except for a lack of patience! lol Further down the line I will probably be very interested in the hunt for those exceptional finds in the used knife arena but for now I will probably go with new.
