Hi All,
I am looking for EDC folding knife that has a blade length of 2.5 inches or so. I came across WESN Henry which looks like what I am looking for, but not sure what else might be better or different to consider. The only thing that I am not sure about the WESN is that it does not lock. I want something that is fairly flat, lightweight, well-built, and that I can carry in dress pants for the days in the office. Looking for everyday use but nothing series like extreme survival :)
Thank you.

I’d check out lionsteel or viper. Great slip joints. Collectorknives should have something that tickles your fancy. Wesn gives me strong hipster Jamesbrand vibes. Failing to mention a Country of Origin is a red flag to me. Based in Detroit, roots in Sweeden and no mention of where these are made. You’re paying for the marketing.

Does it really need to lock? What is the intended use?
Is a dressy gentleman's folder more appropriate for the work environment?

It'll suck up your budget; but - assuming you want a modern look - check out the Tactile Bexar. It's a slipjoint; but if you want lightweight & fairly flat, that's what it is.
(Blade length is just a little into "or so")

If you're at on a lock, and open to a more "classic" style, what about a Buck 055 or 503?

Are they less than $200? Hard to get, definitely on my list of most-coveted knives. Supposed to be about as good as production knives get, I have heard.
I picked my HOLE-Y Nerd off of the bay for just a bit over $200. They also pop up on the Exchange here from time to time.

Also, keep an eye on TRM's site -- they just had a release last Friday starting at $179.

WOW! Thank you all. Lots to think about. At a quick search glance, these seem to fit. Kizer Yorkie, Tactile Bexar, TRM HOLE-Y Nerd, lionsteel, Buck.
Good points about WESN and where it is made. I thought it was US made.

Came across Giant Mouse ACE Riv which also appeals to me from the blade shape and size but I guess this opens up a whole different set of options, but might be better all around kind of knife.

Giant Mouse makes some knives in Italy but the Riv is made in China. (In case that matters.)

I'd buy a Kershaw leek. They come in a variety of flavors. And the variety of price. And it's made in the United States. With a lifetime guarantee. 3 inch blade. The scales depends on how much you want to spend and what kind you want. Same for the steel.. It's always fun when you're buying a new knife. Whatever you get I hope you enjoy it. That's the main thing.
