I am looking into a new small to medium fixed blade for utility/edc/hiking/camping knife. I would like a versatile blade and be we best if the price was around or below $110. Thanks

well everyone is gonna recomend mora. look at anza knives my uncle loves them and he dont buy something unless its well worth money and good

Lots you can get for that price. ESEE Izula, ESEE 3, ESEE 4, Falkniven F1, etc. Also look over in the knifemakers for sale section, you can get some really nice custom knives if you keep your eye out.

Bk14, with tkc g10 scales. Solid small fixed blade, about $40ish for the knife and same for the scales.

Becker BK2 or ESEE -4.

My old Camillus Beckers (BK2, BK3, and BK7) are my favorite knives. The BK2 Campanion is my perfect outdoor knife: Thick as hell and good for cutting and chopping.

Your description is not very specific. When I read it I was thinking Becker BK17.

If you are going a little smaller then maybe the ESEE 3.

For general camping/hiking, $20~$30 will get you very good fixed blades ...

Mora Companion HD (4") or Bushcraft (4.25")

Marttiini Hunter (4") or Big Game Hunter (5")

Or, for $70, step up to the Kabar BK16 (4.4")

BUT ... my fav is the Kabar BK15 (5.5") and the BEST value at $50 shipped on the Exchange - http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1346068-Becker-BK7-BK5-BK15-All-NIB

I have the Companion HD in carbon and the Companion in 12C27 stainless. I prefer the non-HD version for general hiking and backpacking.

I pair it with a Leatherman Squirt PS4 for general repairs and highly recommend "The Backpacker's Handbook" by Chris Townsend. You can get all three for under $100 and still have money for a pizza

If you don't mind real small, Bark River has the EPK, Pro-Scalpel, Little Caper, Little Creek, and Micro and Mini Canadians for that price. I have the Micro-Canadian in Lignum Vitae and it is pretty tiny, but really pretty and so useful my wife stole it and uses it for everything.

You mentioned camping though, so I don't know if any of these would handle woods chores that great...
