large stockman sounds interesting, stick with case ??

If you want a blade that will patina nicely go with a case or if you can find one, a nice Schrade Old Timer U.S.A. if not, then look at queen. D-2 and gorgeous Amber stag bone.

thanks for the replys guys, i went armed with the responces and made a trip to cabelas, came home with a bone pumpkin coloured muskrat and an amber bone med stockman, both case, i'll post pics tommorow

If you don't have a peanut by now, you need to join the 'cult'. And go with a CV one if you can. Then a nice medium stockman will be good to round things out.
