Recommends for small fixed blade

The f1 is too big for the application indicated - it has a 3.8" blade and is more suited as a belt knife. The WMN model by fallkniven could be an option for the size asked. My guess is that the OP wants a really nice knife rather than a utilitarian one based on the upper cost provided.

When I think of small fixed blades, I think of Gene Ingram & Charles May. My favorite small knife is the Gene Ingram Pocket Hippo.

Wow, that pocket hippo is gorgeous! The pocket shortcut fits the bill well also.

Wish i could find a couple used ones...
