Recon 1 fans - which blade shape do you prefer?

I really prefer the spear point plain edge such an incredible knife!

XL - Clip. Regular - toss up between the drop and the clip. Plain in all cases.

I own both the clip and spear points.

I mainly carry the clip point.

And no serrations on any of them. It’s such an awesome knife that does everything you could need in a knife. If I was in military that would be my choice of a duty knife.
Light,strong and big enough to handle anything.

Oh and imo very affordable for what you get so most enlisted people could get there hands on them.

It is a Very Good value for what you get. It is extremely sturdy and can take a beating. It Is Also very simple to take The screws out and Give it a Deep Clean. Some companies Make knives that Are a Pain to put back together but the Recon Is Not one of them!!

Same here. I got the uncoated M1 and it's really nice. Price isn't too bad with 20% off.

I have the tanto and the spear. The spear seems more practical but I carry the tanto 90% of the time because it’s cool.

That AD10 is awesome! I really think you should pick up the OD Green Recon 1; I could see it kicking other blades out of your pocket for a while.

Clip point, plain edge. Same as my preference for Voyagers. And Buck 110s and 112!
