Recon 1 tanto vs. Griptilian tanto

Between these two knives, which one is overall better for EDC grunt work? They both look pretty solid. Does the Griptilian in 154CM have the advantage? Or does the brutishness of the Recon tanto give it the edge? The Cold Steel blade is half an inch longer but weighs a little less.

They are both great but depends what you want to do by grunt work? The Recon 1 is one of the toughest folders for the weight and price on the planet, hands down. The Grip tanto is a great knife too, not as hardcore strong in the lock dept if you plan on a little abuse but it's no slouch. I would choose the Recon easily for hard work but that's just me, i've hammered my Recons for years and they are as solid and tight as the day i bought them. The new XHP steel from CS is bloody good too, and in my opinion the ergo's on the Recon are some of the best you can get. Dry, wet, whatever...it just never slips in your hand, feels like a glove.
