Recon 1

I have a C.S. Recon 1 spear point and I love it. I use it as a hard use work knife and it holds up to everything I have thrown at it. Down side for EDC is that it is big, and the G-10 handles are rough on the pocket, I use it with BDUs so it doesn't bother me. To sharpen the serrations you need a special sharpener made by Lansky but they only run about seven bucks.
 
It is a good knife but is from a not so good company. It gets sharp and holds its edge okay the ultra lock is a decent strong lock, the finish is durable. The only super cons i have are the company's ethics and the country of manufacture (Tiwan); both of which may mean alot to some and absolutely nothing to others. That said there are better knives for the price such as the BM Griptillian and spyderco endura.

I will also agree with this statement. It's a nice knive, but....
