The MasterHunter and SRK in 3v were made in Italy for a short time now its all made in Tawain : Demko himself stated that the blades are made and heat treated here by Peters then shipped to Tawain for finishing so they are half USA made

Really? That’s a pretty nice bonus.
 
Taiwan makes good cutlery so that isnt a bad thing. That would explain why the 3V models are lower priced than when they were released
