Very cool! I like stuff like that! Just curious, how is the edge sharpness AFTER such a cut? could you do another such cut without resharpening?

I made a series of cuts without resharpening. Six mats, then eight, then nine, then nine and a half.

what were the mast dimensions and material? (sorry I can't read avis on my machine...)

The mats are straw wara tightly rolled, each 3 to 4 inches in diameter. They are soaked in water for a day and a half prior to cutting.
