Records?

I wonder if Buck keeps records of the knives that are sent in for repair.
Like what knife and who they sent it back repaired to.

Like I sent in a 110 back in 1976 or 77 and they repaired it.I wonder if
they have a record of that.

hi hawkeye,
i seen the "cage" were they keep repairs.
looked to me like a 16x16 location ...
every thing had bar codes on it..
Joe explained that they do id and track and hold records for a long time!
but he also implied that there is a time limit on holding the knives and data.
from what i seen i feel your records are likely purged.
but the man that did the repair for many many years may have keep a record of his own.
i think i heard some thing like that but my HDD has unmapped bad sectors..
and this seems to be one of those times that data tried to wright on one...
hope fully joe will see this monday and have more info..
