Just subtract the blade length from the total length. ;) Total length of the scales are 5- 5/8", the area where your fingers go is 4-1/4".

Hi Andy,
Yes, It's just about finished. I was out of grinding belts for about two weeks, so I wasn't able to shape the handle till yesterday. I'll send you a picture later today. Did you want a sheath with it?

Yes any sheath will do. can't wait to see this thing, i'm sure others will want one of these once they see it :D
