My heat treating oven will only take a 15 inch blade so I took this one to a friend's shop.. Nice to have good friends.

Forged from 1/4 inch 5160
Flat grind with a Scotch-Bright finish
Forged texture on the flats
Wrought iron guard
Curly maple handle
Overall length: 17 inches
Blade: 11 7/8 inches
Leather scabbard

That is a beautiful Khurkuri looking chopper. Everything about it is nice. The rounded guard and handle shape make it perfect for comfort when swinging that big boy. Wish that I had use for it. As usual, your knives offer huge value.
