Recurve FFBM Proto

I have a recurve FFBM proto that has been stripped, there are slight scratches on the blade that were under the grey coating (maybe so it would bond better to the surface?). Also there is a slight crack in one of the wooden grips. I will get pics up soon.

This is a coated FFBM Proto? Did it have the words "Proto" on the blade? How thick was this? What color was the blade (tanker grey) and what color is the handle?
