Here is a different swing on my Halibut model.

This one has a recurve blade.

It is still 1084 that has been clay quenched with a nice hamon. The spine has a random vine file pattern.

The handle is black and blue G10. The blue shows up a little, but it looks more black than blue.

The sheath is a new design I have been trying. The belt loop allows for ambidexterous horizontal and vertical carry. It has had good reviews so far.

Dimensions
Blade - 2 1/2"
OAL - 6 1/4"

Price - $140 shipped to CONUS.
I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.

The first "I'll take it!" gets it.

Talon,
I am out of town until tomorrow night. I left my computer that has my outlook email set up on it at home. I am using a borrowed computer, so I will have to check my email tomorrow night to respond. You could send me a private message through the forums if you want to contact me sooner.

Thanks

That is an awesome knife. I like this design. If I had a little more money I'd take it. If the deal falls through I'll talk next month.

New to the board so Hi to everyone!

Matt by my count I think that is three more you could sell. I love it.

What is the dark color material that you filled in the filework with??? Also, what grit did you finish the G10 to??

The black fill is just regular epoxy. It looks black because of the color of the background. It is really clear, or at least as clear as epoxy gets. When I put the handle on, some of the epoxy squishes out, and I sand off what does not fill in the file pattern.

I normally take G10 to 800 grit then buff.

I guess I will have to get on more of these. It is funny, I didnt like the looks of the knife all the way up until the handle was put on. Sometimes I have to force myself to finish a knife because the handle and final polish changes everything. I hesitate to send customers pictures of "in process" pictures because of how bad the knife looks sometimes.

Thats an uber sexy knife.. Im not super sure how I like the shape of the handle, but Id have to fondle it... The blade shape, blade hamon, and G10 on the handle, and mosiac pin are all awesome, IMO anyways..

Believe me, you'll "get" this handle after no more than just a few seconds of fondling. Absolutely one of my favorite small knives, especially if I have to work with it for awhile.
