Nice light weight blade with plenty of belly for skinning. This one was clay coated and sports a nice hamon. The scales were contoured with a double palm swell and feels good in the hand. The sheath is a RH pouch style that was made for this blade, it holds the knife securely for a worry free carry. Here are the specs:

Steel- W2 X approximately .140
AOL- 8 inches
HT- In house with a double quench and triple 2 hour temper cycles
Grind- Flat
Blade- 3 7/8 inches to front of scales
Edge- Scary sharp polished convex edge
Handle- 4 1/8 inches
Scales- Bocote contoured scales with double palm swells
Hardware- 1/8 nickel pins and 1/4 inch brass thong tube
Sheath- RH triple welted hand sewn pouch style

Beautiful Joe!! Those double palm swells....didn't know I liked 'em so well until I had a Hoover in hand. Stil one of my very favorites.

A great looking knife all 'round. Many ask alot more for alot less.........
