This knife is different than my usual work; I tend to make a lot of drop point hunters because that's what I like to use. I often forget that other people prefer different styles. This knife has a deep belly for skinning and the user can choke up on the blade by placing the tip of his index finger in the choil. The knife balances nicely at the guard.

Specs:
1/8 inch ATS34 heat treated to Rc 58-60 with a cryogenic quench
Hollow ground with a mirror finish
Total length is 10 1/2 inches with a 5 1/2 inch blade
bacote handle
Brass and water buffalo spacers
Hand sewn leather scabbard

$140 SOLD plus $5 shipping to the lower 48. Paypal, money order and check (if you don't mind waiting for it to clear before I ship) accepted.

Another very nice result for you.

Please provide handle and blade length?

I agree with you I am a drop point mainstay myself.

Why must you guys post so many beautiful knives while Im on a budget:grumpy: so many knives I would love to own but shouldnt be buying

Oops, forgot the length in the specs. Thanks for catching that Chris! Overall length 10 1/4 inches. Blade 5 1/2 inches.

Now you got me wanting to buy it, after seeing the details.

GL you have Overall length of 10 1/2 at the top and 10 1/4 lower down.

So the grip is about 4 3/4 inches to get my thinking more about what to do?

OH MY what to do...

PS: GL on another thread you educated me to buy smaller blade knives, now you pop out a 5 1/2 incher.

OK, with a steadier hand this morninng I measure the total length at 10 3/8 inches and the blade at 5 9/16 inches. This blade was ground by hand without the use of jigs, fixtures or any holding devices so my margin of error on the blade is plus or minus 3 inches. On every knife I make I finish the handle first and than grind the blade to balance. Backwards I guess but it just drives my engineer friends nuts and that always makes my day.

GL that a great knife but I will purchase something else from you, at a later date. Hope it finds a home soon.

Gerry, try cutting down on the coffee it helps reduce the shakes. +/- 3" wow, you could be a weather man. They drive every one nuts. Wouldn't it be nice to get paid to just be close all the time. :)

It is a Great looking knife by the way!

Is this one going on the table at this weekend's Asheville Gun & Knife show? If so, will it still be $140 or is that the Balde Forums price?

You're work is awesome. I check here pretty often just to see you're stuff now.

.. This knife has been offered here for over a week now and non of you fellows has made this piece your own..

As I have made mention many a time or two in the past on this site I get my payroll & commission pay once a month and if'n this fine cutter is still here come Wednesday morning on the new month then this one is mine.

If one of you beets me to it before then, there will be no hard feelings.
