recycled containers for storing stuff in:
Kinda off topic but since im using these containers for the woods kit i thought why not?
first up is a BIG JUMBO pill bottle, that has slightly flexy/soft construction, and is watertight. It had a bottle of HOTSTUFF crycynalate stored inside it. I'm going to make another firekit outta this one, it holds a TON of PJ cotton balls. Pictured next to a few fixed blades so you can see how large it is (about 6" long x 2" wide)
next up is a empty Tylenol tube, holds a AA or CR123 battery very nicely, or maybe a little fishing kit.....:

last is a little 2" or so makeup container that the GF threw out. It has an upper compartment, and then a small flip (on steel pins) up GLASS mirror (signal mirror!) and then a little compartment below that held some kind of makeup crap. I put the little round makeup sponge UNDER the mirror to pad it, and i want to put a round magnifying lens (fire starting) into the upper compartment. The mirror is very well made and reflects pretty much 100%. The entire case is pretty tough plastic too. Fits into a pocket better than a square mirror.
what containers have you recycled into gear storage?
