red BM 940's

i heard there were only 50 of em made.
i recently fell in love with the blue one,and will have one shortly after blade show.but i got to thinking about what it would be like to own a red one (that'll never happen)
if you got one,lets hear it!

From what I understand 200 red 940's were produced. 50 in each of four blade configurations. I have a buddy who bought one as a gift for a friend, they are some good looking knives! I hope to buy one someday myself.

I've got only one, but it's serial #07/50 in plain blade, non-serrated. I'm asking the sinfully greedy price of $350.00. (Already been offered $300, so I guess it just might be worth a bit more)

What can I say, it's the market that sets the prices. Do you think a Van Gogh was worth $80,000,000 fifty years ago? Did anyone think gas would top $2.00 a gallon, even just a few year ago?
