Good morning!! Beautiful full tang game skinner I named the "396" . Polished African Blackwood handle with 3/16" brass pins. The blade is A2 steel tempered in my Paragon oven to 58-60 Rockwell, flat grind with 600 grit Satin Glo finish on the blade with a mirrored finish on the ricasso. The logo of my company Red Diamond Custom Knives is subtly etched into the left side of the blade. The blade length is 4" with an overall length of 8.5", balance point is under the forward pin. The sheath is a leather right hand carry, burnished, with a saddle stitch. I have had this design personally tested on Elk, Mule Deer, and Whitetails. This piece is equally at home in the field or the collection. Payment can be made via PayPal @reddiamondcustom or Venmo.
***Note-I am new to this site and listed a bit about my background under the "about" tab. I am a one person custom operation and named my LLC "Red Diamond Custom Knives" to honor my grandfather's service in WWII as that was the nickname of the division he served in as a squad leader in a heavy weapons platoon. The "396" denotes the battle of "Hill 396" by his company. The photo in my Avatar is my grandfather "Barney" as they crossed the Rhine River into Germany. I'm happy to be part of the community and have been highly impressed with the craftsmanship of the individual custom knife makers on this site.
