This is my classic drop point hunter in A2 blade flat ground with heat treat by Paul Bos. A2 is a high carbon (1.00 %) tool steel with a small amount of chrome (5.2%) for corrosion resistance. I have been making these in O1 with micarta and wood handles and now steped it up to Sambar Stag. Guard and Pins are 403ss. The stag was really white and I decided to do something a little different, it is dyed to match the sheath
The blade is flat ground and sanded to 2000 grit then polished. The edge is ground to about 0.015 and convex with a cutting angle of about 12 degrees to make it a real slicer.
These knives are real cutters .. See it slice in the link below..............

Blade 4 1/2" x 1 1/4".. Overall length 8". 1/8"thickness
$145.00 postage in US included and sheath (reddish brown) see mirror pic for better color , thanks everyone
Sold
I need to charge a little more for outside US.
I prefer paypal but flexable on payment method.
I hate to say it but this picture really does the knife justice, it is this beautiful. The other pics are not as good. very good mirror finish
