This knife that is made from 4 pound piece of 440c tool steel. I carefully removed all but 6 ounces. Integrals have no joints so there are no weak points. Integrals are made for the knife buyer who want a exceptional knife that will last many generations of hard use.

5/32 Thick Blade made of 440C RC of 59
Grind is a Hollow Ground.
Cutting Edge is 3''.
Overall Length is 8''
Construction is Integral.
Handle is Red Dyed Box Elder Burl.
Sheath and Knife Case is included.

I have a no non-sense Guarantee, you break it under normal use. I Promise I will fix or replace it as long as I am able to work in the shop. Plus if for any reason you are ever unhappy with it. Send it back to me for a "FULL REFUND" Because I don't make a knife I wouldn't love to own.

Would it be possible to get a closeup of the bolsters? From the pictures posted it looks like there are lines that indicate multiple pieces of steel. Also, would you mind explaining the process whereby you create integrals? Thank you!

Yes Sir. It is a Integral. It is made from a single piece of 440c. I used a mill to rough out the bolsters. Then filed everything everything into shape. I assure you there is only one piece of steel used.

In the Knife world Integrals means being made of single piece of tool steel. Integrals are the hardest knives to make. There are only a handful of Integral makers in the US. I am proud to be part the few that makes Integrals.
