Red Graphic on Steel?

Does anyone know how to place a red graphic/mark on steel similar to the ones shown in the pictures?

If I was going to replicate that I'd stop finish sanding before the last couple of grits, etch the logo real deep, fill the logo with paint or gunkote (then bake if using gunkote), then finish sanding.

YUP ^ looks like an etch or even more likely a stamp that has bee painted over

I'll third that as being an etch or stamp with a paint/oven finish in it. I'm doubtful that it was etched then electroplated, but I suppose it's possible.

There is nothing that electroplates red.

Sounds like a safe bet. Having sanded a few "like" marks off of J-Blades, I'm inclined to agree.
