For some of us, the color red will draw us in like moths to a flame. You should have no trouble keeping track of this knife it is quite visible. This is a substantial knife, no light weight here. The handle scales are Corian, which is a durable material, but on the heavy side. The Corian is buffed smooth but the contour I put in the handle still allow for a secure grip.
This knife has more character than normal. more of a gloss finish than a mirror finish.
Triple tempered and sub-zero quenched 1095 steel.
Overall 9 1/8", Hollow-ground Blade edge 4 1/8", Handle 4 3/4" Width 1 3/8", Thickness 3/16"
This knife weights about 14oz.

All I can say is everyone who did not buy this knife made a BIG mistake. I got it today and was WOWed. This is a fabulous knife.:thumbup:
