Red Light

Hey a lot of times I have trouble when I stand still with a headlamp on bugs flying in my nose and mouth.

Does anyone know if bugs are attracted to red light the same way? Would I be able to get around the problem with one of these headlamps that has a red light?

Dunno but if you hunt you may wanna look into green lights. Supposedly deer can't see it or have a hard time seeing it then you'd have double use.

Mosquitos cannot seem to see the red light thrown off by my Tak Tikka headlamp.
