Red Logwood Burl Knife Scales and Blocks

Here is a wood that i bring up from Central America that i think is fantastic. It is called Red Logwood, which is the unsexiest name that they could have called this stuff, but it is what it is. The botanical is (Haematoxylon campechianum). This is the natural color of this wood, it is not dyed. Although not directly comparable to a wood like Ambonyna, I think it offers a suitable option and alternative to amboyna when desiring a red/orange/yellow wood.
