Red Mallee Root Bowie

This handle material was fantastic! I'll be looking for more of this in the future.
Pretty basic clipped Bowie from Andersen Forge.
Beautiful red Mallee Root that I had stabilized.
Stainless fittings in a Take-down assembly. I minimized my normal "skull-crusher" pommel nut and made it flush-fitting to the faceted guard.
5160 forged down from really heavy stock.
7 7/8" blade and 13" overall

Very nice piece Karl - you sure seem to have selected some particularly beautiful pieces of wood for the handles of your knives. Very good move, that. A really good looking knife overall.

Very nice as is everything you have been posting lately. The mallee root looks a lot like ironwood in the pictures.
