Got this one in trade a little while back, never used it, deciding to try the 'catch & release' thing. It's a Red Scorpion 6 Predator WSK in pretty minty condition other than perhaps a little handling/sheathing wear. Comes with a very nice horizontal carry leather sheath with magnetic retention. I believe its made by Rawhide Leather, but I don't see any markings.
Here's the knife spec's a search lead me to:
1/4" thick stainless steel full tang
440C Stainless Steel with a Hardness of 57
Blade head: 4 1/2"
Draw knife:2 1/4"
Blade Width: 2 1/2"
Blade to handle: 6 3/4"
Handle:6 1/4"
Handle scales micarta
Handle scales easily changed
Production LIMITED to 1000
And per as per usual, I'd offer a 24 hr. non-use/no-modification/alteration inspection period.:thumbup:
Yes, as alot of us know, Red Scorpion has a pretty dismal repuation here, so take it for what you will. Prior to his downfall, in 2007 a fellow member here did post a fairly extensive review of knife and it seemed to perform decently. So if you're looking for a WSK-style knife, here's an opportunity. Overall, it seems to be decent example of the breed that won't run you high into the 3 or 4 figures. And the sheath is, as I say, quite nice.
Feel free to make reasonable offers...the worst I can do is say no thanks.
Any trade offer must be in excellent++/LNIB condition. If any power tool has touched it, I'm probably not interested.
Requirement: Any traded knife mailed to me must be PROPERLY packaged. That means a proper-sized BOX, bubble wrap, and packing materials. I'm getting tired of receiving high dollar knives with what appears to be a grand total of about 15 seconds of packing effort
