Red Scorpion Six Blades Predator WSK Video Destruction Test Completed

savagesicslayer: I'll post some photos. The edge damage is not present any more since I kept working the knife into the concrete. It just has a blunt edge now but I'll post some pics anyways.

everyone: I have talked to Aaron on my forum and responded to his above posts. I don't want to retype it all again. :D anyways, it be can seen over at the www.knifetests.com forum.

I think company's should give you the knives for FREE. You do so much to promote their products. For instance, some of your youtube videos have OVER 24,000 views!!!

I think you should contact the company who you want the knife from. Then send them links to your site and youtube account and tell them how many people will see the videos. Then just do a little more persuading and they might send them to you!

They are Carbon steel!

This is a big improvement  . I think the guys who can't afford to dish out $2000 for Beck's WSK, will like this !! What carbon steel will the new versions be made of ?

We are doing it out of SKS5 tool steel.
C 0.75-0.85, Si ≤0.35, Mn ≤0.50, P ≤0.030, S ≤0.030, Cu ≤0.25, Ni 0.70-1.30, Cr 0.20-0.50.

About the hole standard test thing, I say no. When I click onto knifetest.com I wanna see a guy in a hockey mask smacking stuff around, while giving out a chuckle once in a while. I don't care if its not an exact science. Its close enough for me.

Oh and a request to Noss-Pleeeease get rid of the awful music on the start page- I grid my teeth every time I hear it. otherwise keep up the good work.

I was never sure about the saws on the wsks, if it had a saw that was better I would consider one, maybe.

These sawteeth are perfect for what they are designed to do. They are not a handsaw or tree saw. They were only designed for notching and creating a short depth cut.
If you are making this claim you need a pack saw not a knife. Hell a chainsaw would be my preference over a handsaw. If a handsaw was automatic I would get one. what is that kind of thinking? If only my boots had rockets. lol
Come on, just say you don't like it and move on or did you just need something to post something? lol

One thing saws are good for is cutting through small branches up in a tree where you don't want splitting. Good example: you want to make a bow, you find one good branch of the right diameter, without twigs or knots for a decent distance, but it's way up in a tree. You climb up there but have to hang on with one hand and cut with the other, because you don't have three hands. To baton it is out of the question, for the same reason. A chop from a big knife will get it off--perhaps with some splitting--but the saw option isn't bad to have. It may get clogged with sawdust, but you can usually clean that out pretty easily and keep going.
