Red Skyline Giveaway, Hooray

Composite Compund in Orange g10. Honestly my favorite folder now. Orange would make it more work friendly.

I've gotten quite impressed with the Leek lately.

Was thinking maybe something to dress it up a bit. Handle materials are always a pain on a framelock...CF on one side just don't look right somehow.

Maybe a Leek with some tasteful engraving and modest but attractive filework and a bit "dressier" clip.

Great idea for a contest Dave!

A sprint RAM with carbon fiber scales and a Vanax 75 blade, or at least Elmax or one of the Bohler steels.

While we're at it, a Ti framelock Skyline with the other side a carbon fiber scale, and one of the new Bohler steels. Doesn't really sound like a $90 knife, but if anyone could do it for less than $100, it would be Kershaw.

First off, thanks for the chance..... I think (realistically) Kershaw would sell a whole lotta Skylines if they made a version with S30v and a lower riding clip. The Skyline is already a great knife!

Let me start by saying thanks for the opportunity.
As for the knife I would love to see the Zing with more handle colors (green, red, blue) and to be available with or withoud blade "grooves". Also a Zing with upgrade steel, maybe CPM154 or S30V and upgrade handle, maybe carbon fiber or G10. Should be able to keep both under $90, I think?

Thanks for the chance!

I'd love to see a Lahar with a composite blade like on the JYD or Rake. THAT'D be awesome :)

Thanks for the opportunity Dave! Best of luck with the new website.

I would love to see a modern remake of (my favorite) the Special Agent. It was a fantastic knife.

I'd love to see a Volt II with some g10 scales, and premium steel. At least 154cm. I think if you could price it near that of the mini grip...no contest winner.

Actually, I'd love to see your cheaper knives offer some other steels. I know there are runs of the leeks, blurs, and what not with different steels, but some models like the volt ii and chill are left with 8cr13Mov. Not that that is a bad steel, but I'd pay a little more for some premium steel on those models. I know you need to keep the price point low, but a $15 knife with better materials can sell just as well at the ~$30 mark. Maybe someone will try the models at a cheaper price point, then upgrade to a better model with better materials as they see fit.

I'd love a Backlock like the Gentlemans 1993-2 folder but enlarged to a 3.5 to 3.75 inch blade ( if possible, if not 1993-2 pattern could be used for cost if it becomes an issue), with thumbstud this time, dark red Linen Micarta or Amazon bloodwood if wood is selected.. I'd prefer Elmax over VG10 but if made in the Kai plant in Japan VG10 would be fine.14C would be great too if made in Oregon. Elmax has turned out to be a very fine steel in just about every category

The blade would be thin, distal taper and have a fairly fine point. Pivot adjustable, heavy duty like on 1993-2 with slotted head, steel liners skeletonized for weight, Blade straight with no recurves or "s" shape, no serrations. Nickel silver bolster front only.

One can dream anyway.

Thanks for the giveaway. I'd like to see an extra large Skyline, with a FFG blade. I'm fine with the 14C28N steel. Move away from the stonewashed finish, just to keep it spicy. And a little more aggressive on the G10. That would be sweetness.
