Trade secret!..................Naaa I made two tapered dies that I use on each side of the knife for the hollow rivets that I compress in a machinest vise. It is real controllable as far as how much crush you get. I'll take a couple of pictures and add them to the post for clarification.

The scales were just a little smaller, which was good because I was able to grind the knife to match the scales.

I have been doing the hollow rivets for a few years now, long before that post, but it is basically the same process. I learned how to do it from Shane Sibert. I will add some photos soon.

That is terrific ! I just don't understand ! The other knife is now handleless and I assume you are planning to rehandle that. Why transfer the handles from there to a skelly instead of leaving it where it was and rehandle the skelly. I don't know if I am making apoint, am I ?? :foot:
