Redesigned Military?

I read here in the thread about the soon-to-be-out cpmD2 military, that the "new" military design wasn't finished yet. I looked for, but couldn't find, any other info on this. Anyone heard what the new millie (not the cpmD2 model) will be like? I'm assuming a new lock (stop lock?) and clip configurations, but would like to get the facts, or even the juiciest of rumors. :)
 
I know a lot of ideas were collected by Sal and company, but I don't think any final decisions have been made yet as to the end design, at least none that I know of. Spyderco sure seems to be very busy these days and that's a good thing.

You're very welcome! My point being, thats the only news about ANY new military coming out, and the features of the yet to be released "new design" Military are discussed in that thread which is only a few days old. I'm sure that if anyone heard any new information on this "new design" military since then, they wouldn't post it right away, they'd surely be waiting for vinny72xx to ask for it.
 
I remember Sal mentioning a new Military design with a stop lock several months back, but I think it was a couple of years out at that point. I haven't heard anything on it since then.
 
I purchased a BG42 CF Military a few weeks ago and Love it! I also have an older version of the S30V but plan on picking up a new one soon. Just wanted to know a date when this new D2 Milli will be in stores for purchase and stores will have them first?

The latest word on a release date was "pretty soon" :D

I know that one has snuck across the ocean, but that was a special case.
