I just read in the Spyderco Byte email that Murray Carter has made over 25,000 knives.

Pitter patter. Let’s get at’er. :D
Behring made said on IG they made 1100 in 2019:eek:

Congratulations pinemoon and thanks John for the giveaway. Thanks to your kids for help with the drawing.
When we were assigning cards you got the Queen of Hearts and I told Ains that was your name, she thought for sure you won when she drew a queen!

When Murray Carter makes a knife as good as a Redmeadow I'll be impressed.

I've never actually seen one so I only know what I've read about his stuff. He could have said 6,000,000. I have nothing to base an opinion on.

Horray! Looks like Pinemoon Pinemoon for the QD

Congratulations PINEMOON. Nicely done John. Send that one to Maine :D

Cheers, R
Congrats, Pinemoon!!!
Congrats and Happy New Year, Don. I hope 2020 gets even better for you.:thumbsup:

Thanks again for your generosity, John.
^ This, now get back in the shop and make a few dozen of those bad boys! :p

can ya get me the OAL on this bad boy? Also the name.
14" OAL, there's some more details in the first post. If I had to name it I would call it a Sandbar Bowie. If you're not familiar with that, search the keywords "Sandbar fight Jim Bowie", and the "Edwin Forrest Bowie". By NO means a replica whatsoever, it's just my take on the type of knife Jim Bowie might have had before the famous guarded, clipped beast was designed.

Thanks, I should have scrolled down more on that first post.
Now I see where you got the picture, and the Sandbar reference. I had not heard about the "Sandbar Fight." Very interesting. Some enjoyable reading ahead of me
