This is far less than any price on the web or anywhere I know of. This is a chance for you to own one of these LE blades for well under their present value. I'm doing this to make a quick and charitable offer to someone who might otherwise not be able to buy these pieces.
THESE PRICES ARE VALID THROUGH SUNDAY PM. At 12:01AM MONDAY, NEITHER BLADE WILL BE UP FOR SALE. NO EXCEPTIONS. I WILL SHIP PROMPTLY AND INSURE ITEMS VIA UPS. PAYPAL IS THE WAY TO BE SECURE BUT, I WILL CONSIDER OTHER ARRANGEMENTS. I AM HOPING THAT THIS DOESN'T GET OVERLOOKED. I WOULD LIKE TO SELL THEM TO A FELLOW KNIFE ENTHUSIAST. MONDAY AFTERNOON THEY WILL BE SOLD TO A HIGH END SPECIALTY STORE IN VESTAVIA AL. THEY ARE OFFERING $100 MORE PER BLADE THAN WHAT I HAVE THEM PRICED AT HERE (yes, I am 100% on the level).
I want to keep these babies in the forum. However, I can't justify these prices beyond this weekend. It is an amazing opportunity. I hope that someone grabs my offer here. These knives are special and are not going to be seen near this price range again. Guaranteed.

D/A Damascus Lobo with Black Palm Wood Handle by Lone Wolf: $275.00
Protech Large Don with Mosaic Push Button and Desert Ironwood Inlays: $235.00

Luck to all.

I can be reached at 205-639-8569 if necessary. I am happy to answer questions about myself as a seller/collector and any related inquiries via phone if time becomes of the essence....as it always seems to be.

Cheers.

I am sorry to say that my insanity sale ends at 12 PM today. I feel that these prices reflect a total financial loss for me. I was interested in posting them at these low price points for a short while to see if:
A. Forum members were aware of this sale
B. If I might help someone acquire the sort of knife they never could afford otherwise.

Noon today is the last call. I have mixed feelings about this going on for another second but, perhaps someone will figure out what these two beautiful pieces are actually worth.?

Shall see.
Luck is all you have had.....someone must be smart. Prices are as stated.
After 12PM today, they are both NFS and NFT.

Cheers,
PK

Not at all. I will sell these knives until noon. At 12:01, they are no longer available. This is my being generous and seeing how much attention a great deal attracts on these forums. Notably, how long it takes for buyers to notice. I'll say this much. If you are a buyer, now would be a last chance on the Don. Lobo is "under contract".

Never sell knives out of desperation!
Rule #1 and #2? Yes?

Cheers!

Payment of $275.00 requested via paypal.
Lobo has been verbally committed to.
That Don is about to go back in my case. It is 350.00 new at best in a specialized high end blade shop. It is not available anywhere online.

It is a gem. I have a funeral to attend today so, I may not be available to sell it before the noon hour arrives.

If you want to pay this absurdly low price for a custom shop Protech "Large Don", I advise you to make a move on it ASAP.

Just being honest.

Cheers to all.
Phillip

I have 8:45 CST. Since I am giving a eulogy at 1pm today, I will be removing these items from the for sale forum in exactly 45 minutes. I am sorry to be so abrupt here. My prices are just ridiculous and I'm not that interested in waiting on buyers to take these prices as a gift. So, it is official.
9:30 is the end of my little experiment.

Both items are still available at this time. I am not eager to sell them at all. Seems like I have many buyers asking to buy the items, I send a payment request and then.....crickets.
This is not multivariate analysis people! I have given you a price for like new knives of custom shop grade that is beyond my own foolish nature to comprehend.

Now or never.
Thanks,
Phillip

Sweetwater!
You now have the invoice and I am waiting for you.
Will 15 minutes be enough time? It is necessary to have this all done before I decide to commit myself. I feel naked and ass beaten into a state of nudity and fiscal depression .
However, I also get these soulful, warm and fuzzy spells too. Perhaps that is a your happiness in rediscovering this knife in my 1st post for sale on this forum.

That'll do Sweet.
That'll do.

Don is being held until 9:57 for payment to arrive. If no $$$ are in my possession come 10 AM, I will offer it once more for the price that is indicative of the item for sale.
10:01AM Don is $325.00
10:09AM Don is mine once more.

Sweetie? Just don't miss this bus lad!

I need a drink.

Phillip,
The Al Polkowski Alpha Jammer for the Don. Priority shipping, signature guarantee, and insurance.

I must apologize for I have a done a rather poor job of communcating on this matter. That was not my intention.

Best regards,
sweetwater

I am glad you sold your knives Pkirsch, Congratulations!

I thought both were priced below market and if I had extra money I would have jumped on the Lone Wolf as it is a great looking knife.

I gotta say this though, I think if you price something fairly on BladeForums and leave it alone people will find it and buy it. Sometimes it takes a little longer in the automatic forum since there's less traffic but those that collect switchblades like a good deal just like everyone else. I'm just not sure all the extra time (and I would guess stress) you put in here made that much of a difference. It just seemed weird to me as a person following your sale and in a way turned me off to the knives.

I don't mean to criticize you as it worked and you sold your knives right. Just maybe something to think about for next time.

I'd have to agree, the most odd sale thread I've seen... but hey, to each his own.

Yes, it seemed like this was a PUSH to sell, and knives sell themselves period.. next time try the soft touch, your GET THEM NOW OR LOSE theme is very off putting to say the least, actually surprised they sold.

I will say the following and then I will consider my actions to have been absolutely commendable in the result obtained. I was being altruistic and that is probably closer to what I did. Which, BTW was for the collectors here......for you. My buyers are quite grateful and I have had to make no dealings with a retailer counting the dollars to be made on an object of no particular importance in terms of its size shape or name.

Why is it so difficult to notice that my actions were rather noble. My buyers were consistently saying they will pay. I agree.....nothing heard from 4 buyers after the deal was agreed to. I was running out of time to sell them here. That was the real quest. NO ONE can tell me that those prices could be anything but loss for me. I already had them sold to a store on Moday if they did not go to the forum eventully. I had given Marks oudoors my word that they woud recieve these two bades for 375 and 350.....I had multiple offers that did not pay after I had agreed to the sale...I wanted to keep these among collectors and not become 500 and 420 at Marks Outdoors. If that is something that I am to think of as offputting or pedestrian mixed with some vague notion of a borgeois agenda..... by those I intended to lose money for? The knives were sold for at least $100 less that I paid FOR EACH?. So I made them made affordable as propriety would allow and had a few hours in which to let people know. What the hell is wrong with this, pray tell?
I am beyond surprised but, at least I have no illusions about how little you will be able to do without a few cheap shots at the new person who sells a couple of tremendous knives as a gesture of how I feel about profit Vs collecting being my passionate joy. This is not any source of income, do know that. I wanted them bout on the forum. I did what was necessary.vI csn see how that is ccause to be offensive and rather telling in terms of what you see in all of this vs. the apoint of the entire sale.....I imagine my ways an\d a sale of pilanthropic pricing for the person who would have boujght these j=knives already if they were within their financial reach,
I am so sorry. I confused everyone. My idea was simple but it is just not conventional and even less appealing are the appropriate number of false statements about my reasons.
Those who would care to read the entire post that is over 3 different threads, you will find that I detailed the reasons why I would need to sell them very soon.
So, I suggest my critiques thoroughly read all of these posts, offer some fresh insults and remember the following. I am not at all certain why you are miserable. One thing is all I know. It was nothing did. Perhaps if you think about how little you-know me. Or think about monkeys and crash cymbals.
I really don't care. Shameful to post an answer to anyone that has not known enough in terms of how one should check facts first, then condemn the person. C'mon. Who would realize a mystery stems out of the threads that remain unread and all misunderstood. With such fun? That is fairly low brow. I feel ridiculous. So sorry I was not clear to you why I do things in a certin way. I can do better!!!
Yikes. Please, no need to understand, just no further critical postings that are untrue, unkind, enjoyable to say. Funny to hear. All that does if make me feel this is a joke. Jokes, yes. But, definitely not the posts. The jokes are all here and funny is exactly right.
Well done, bravo, keen insights....zero. Be illiterate or read. Choose to read then, reevaluate how important your words of cajoling warmth are to me. Or you? A soft sell is exactly how deal with what is being sold. My big ideas about selling them to my forum friends at my sole loss? Foolish! Forgive and move toward the exit sign in an orderly fashion. Be better.
