Hello,

Thanks for checking out my sales thread.

I had this bar of Alabama damascus around for several years before finally it spoke to me.

I radiused the handle and left it without scales. I think it looks good this way and I will sell it as is.

Functionally it works great in pinch grip or racket. It only gets uncomfortable if you are doing a lot of cutting at once.

I can make an inset type of handle scales at additional cost if someone is really into it.

Steel is composed of 5160, 15n20, Ni200 IIRC.

1/8" stock. Hardened and tempered by me. About rc60-62.

I ground matching hollows on both sides of the blade. The bevels are convex ground, the edge is around 15 degree inclusive.
