Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon Classic III DM1016A-S2-BK Watch
REDUCED FOR RAPID SALE
This is the watch that helped launch the renewal of the Ball Watch brand, and it's easy to see why. My particular watch received a spa treatment valued at $600 from Swiss Time in Portland Maine last year. The watch has been worn but not abused.
No original box etc as I have moved several times since purchasing the watch. It was originally purchased from a licensed dealer in NYC. It is in excellent condition. Light surface marks on parts of band easily buffed out. And it's one of the best straps in the business, hands down.
The watch is no longer produced in this form which is a crying shame as it is a beautiful watch, classic in its simplicity- who wants all the bells and whistles when you can own a timeless design? The watch sold for $2699.00 and up new, and I see them going for comparable prices or higher when lightly used.
I am letting it go for $1250.00 down to $950.00 US which is a steal considering I spent the $$ giving the watch the loving professional attention it deserves. 40 mm case. 300 metre water resistance. A true dive watch which unlike most dive watches, can easily go out to dinner in black tie.
The ETA 2892-2 is a truly beautiful movement with an incredibly beautiful ear sound, one of the best movements ever produced according to some watch nuts. The back contains the raised image of the submarine!
I much prefer a Canadian sale so as to avoid all the hassle of cross border sales but if an International buyer really wants it and agrees that the responsibility is theirs when it leaves my hands, well we can talk. Also, I am going to be in the USA Friday March 10, so if you grab it right away I can mail it to you from Maine on Friday.
Payment is via Paypal only and I cover the fee. I'll ship Priority to Canada or the USA. International we have to talk. If you prefer Fed Ex or UPS you cover the fee. I sold an Ocean 7 and an Enzo watch on the Watchuseek forum where my name is Mugs. I have been on BladeForums for years as "Finnegan" and have 100% positive feedback on all transactions, around 40 knife sales I believe.
Thanks for looking!
