Reduced. Petty Chef " naked feather " series

Hello,

I have a new style (for me) knife here. this is my 6.5" blade length petty chef.
The steel stock thickness is only .04" (flexible filet knife type of thickness). I have been wanting to try some more knives and tules using this steel. so far so good!

1.5" wide blade 6.5" long x .04" thick
Swedish 26C3 steel hardened to about RC63-64
Natural walnut western shape handle - affixed with 500 deg.F JB weld epoxy.

price is reduced to $100 plus shipping.
this is 01 of a batch of 3. you may lay claim to 02 and 03 of this series if you like. It may take about a week to get these shipped out.

Its pretty slick - I will have to post a video of some cutting.

Woops, I just realized the tip is not sharpened properly - I will have that shaped up when I put a real edge on it before sending it out.

Will the other two (02 and 03 in the series as you mentioned) be the same size?

I would be interested if one of them was around 8" with a similar shape/silhouette.

I have been looking for something super thin with high hardness, in a steel like this, and this blade is pretty.

Hey, the other two are the exact same. I have 2" wide by .04" steel to do a 8" chef though and was slready planning a small batch. How does 180$ + shipping sound?

Develops a patina quickly and easily, and is super quick to touch up the edge.

BluegrassBrian Ive been using one of Stuart Davenport Knives in 26c3 for years. Patina is solid and sharpening is easy. I wouldnt hesitate to go max hardness for kitchen use, its been plenty tough for me.
